The A14B-0076-B104 is a single phase input power unit which acts as a relay for bringing in the power for the SERIES 0 model A, B and C controls. The earlier Fanuc controls split the CNC power between two units, the power supply unit and the I/P unit. With the incoming supply voltage either single phase mains or three phase, being dealt with by the input power unit, then powering the PSU on the control. The original input power supplies are not interchangable with other I/P units due to connectors, etc. Though the I/P units were near bulletproof they still took any spikes/surges from the power source and could fail. These units usally fail permently, whereas PSU’s can be notoriously intermittent.
Similar to other Fanuc power supply units the I/P units on failure can burnout making it effectively none repairable.

As previously stated these input units were used on Fanuc SYSTEM 0A/0B and 0C controls such as the 0MA, 0TA, 0MB, 0TB, and early 0-MC, 0-TC controllers for lathe or machining center. The A16B0076B104 is a low powered single phase varient which takes power and relays brings the power too 200volt output feeding the power supply unit. The board A16B-1600-0090 controls the I/P unit and acts as its alarm circuit if a failure is detected.
