The A20B-8100-0720 is a board based PSU which is bolted on to main board providing a DC-DC conversion to the main card. This DC to DC converter known as a step down PSU is not interchangable with other types. Due to differing power ratings and connectors. Manufactured to power series 21i control standalone systems.
Similar to other Fanuc power supply units the A20B-8101-0191 on failure can burnout making it effectively none repairable.

Normally we try to carry refurbished A20B-8100-0720 power supplies. Fixed by us where we fully refurbished the units replacing all common components that fail. These DC to DC converters are then fitted in situ onto our largest standalone i series mainboard for testing.
Once we are satisfied with at least a couple of days testing then the PSU is put on our stock shelves ready for exchange or outright sale dependent on stocks.
