Fanuc Alarm 5136: FSSB Number of Amps is Small
Desrciption: The amount of servo amplifiers identified by the FSSB system is not correct; compared with the number of drives/channels connected across the FSSB.
Causes of Fanuc Alarm 5136:
- Optical Cable
- This includes all FSSB optical cables from the CNC to the servo amplifiers and newer systems/drives the spindle module; as well the optical cables running between drives via COP10A to COP10B, etc.
- Servo Amplifier
- If the servo amplifier in a chain develops a fault, then the 5136 alarm can show if the drive control board is involved in the fault.
- Axis Control Card.
- Dependent on the type of i series control; it will either have an independent FSSB SMD card or the FSSB will be running direct from the motherboard or more simpler systems.
